Acts 17:10-15

I was privileged to grow up in a home with a father and mother who loved the Lord. They truly modeled what it was to love God and to place the needs of others before their own. We were very active in church, and I remember hearing the Gospel preached weekly.
The Lord saved me by his grace June 22,1992 at the age of 11 during Vacation Bible School at my home church of First Baptist Church Keller. I remember hearing the gospel, walking to the front and speaking to Pastor Dr. Leroy Patterson, whose vision for the Church was reaching one more for Jesus. I knew I was a sinner, and Jesus was the only savior because he was the perfect sacrifice sent from God the Father to pay for the sins of man. It was on this day that I called on Jesus for salvation, repented of my sins, and was saved by His grace as a gift through faith in Christ. I felt the call into gospel ministry at the age of 17 and have served the local church from that point on.
After high school, I attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, and then received my masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I served as a Student Pastor at two churches before being sent by FBC Keller to replant Foundation Baptist Church. During college, I met my wife Amy. We have three children: Addyson, Colby, and Alyssa.
It has been my joy to be a pastor here at Foundation since Sept 7, 2014! I love what I get to do each week. I feel so undeserving to stand before the LORD’s flock each week to exegete his Holy Word and point people to Christ. My hope for Foundation is that by God’s grace we would grow spiritually and numerically reaching those around us and around the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
